CONCESSIONS

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Employees must be a minimum of 15 years old.
  • Employees must participate in all training and in-service sessions.
  • Employee shall be knowledgeable of the club’s policies, procedures, regulations, and programs.
  • Employees shall have respect for the facilities and the work in the Concession department.
  • Employees are responsible to the Concession supervisor and supporting staff.
  • Employees must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as well as after school hours.
MAJOR DUTIES
  • Serve customers promptly with tact, patience, and understanding.
  • Sell merchandise and maintain stock at prescribed levels.
  • Record sales in cash register, make change and be accountable for financial transactions.
  • Prepare and cook food according to proper procedure and standards.
  • Maintain work area, equipment, and related areas in excellent appearance and operating condition to the standards of Lakeside and the Metro Louisville Board of Health.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Be in proper uniform at all times.
  • Clean utensils as they are used.
  • Sweep and mop floors and under counters and equipment nightly, clean spills immediately.
  • Clean counter tops throughout each shift.
  • Check front of stand continuously throughout the day for trash, spills, etc.
  • Empty trash cans, clean cans and lids, replace with clean trash bag and take trash to dumpster.
  • Clean windows, including showcases daily.
  • Clean all concession equipment/machines daily.
  • Clean sinks and storage areas daily.
  • Hang mops and towels in proper location each night.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
