JOB DESCRIPTION
- Employees must be a minimum of 15 years old.
- Employees must participate in all training and in service sessions, to include certification in CPR.
- Employees must be knowledgeable of the clubs, policies, procedures, regulations, and programs.
- Employees must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as well as after school hours.
- Employees are responsible to the Program Supervisor and supervising staff.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Be prepared to teach course materials on a daily basis in both group and private lessons.
- Teach a minimum number of private lessons determined by the Head Instructor and Program Supervisor.
- Respond to members promptly with tact, patience and understanding.
- Maintain equipment used for the program, report any concerns to a supervisor.
- Complete necessary ledgers and other paperwork used in the program.
- Respond to emergencies and follow Emergency Action Plans as required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Be in proper uniform at all times.
- Be prepared and on time for each class.
- Record daily attendance for the class/program.
- Tally daily fees for the class and secure as directed.
- Teach specific techniques for each class and its level of students.
- Encourage participation and feedback from students and/or guardians.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
All persons applying for Quarry Gator coach positions will also be considered Aquatic Instructors and be expected to fulfill job requirements for that position in addition to coaching.
