MAINTENANCE

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Employees must be a minimum of 15 years old.
  • Employees must participate in all training and in-service sessions.
  • Employee shall be knowledgeable of the club’s policies, procedures, regulations, and programs.
  • Employees must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as well as after school hours.
  • Employees are responsible to the Maintenance Supervisors and supervising staff.
MAJOR DUTIES
  • Ensure the proper cleanliness and sanitation of all buildings, restrooms, swimming pool and deck areas.
  • Maintain and beautify the club grounds and gardens.
  • Learn and understand the instructions of the daily routines of maintenance operations.
  • Ensure proper set-up and maintenance of all special events, programs, and meetings.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Be in proper uniform at all times.
  • Use personal protective gear as required.
  • Use proper equipment for the designated job and return equipment to its proper place.
  • Use proper care and handling of all chemicals and swimming pool supplies.
  • Use proper care and handling of power equipment. Wear protective gear as required.
  • Use proper care and handling of power cords and hoses when working around people.
  • Keep storage room, tool room, garage, broom closets, and break area in an orderly manner, and restock all supplies used.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling on the grounds and in buildings on a continued basis.
  • Be prepared to work in extreme conditions of heat and cold temperatures.
  • Be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor(s).
