Body Pump

If you're looking for a class that will condition your muscles and improve overall fitness, Body Pump might be the right class for you. Instructor Melinda Defler leads the class in strength building exercises, cardio workouts, and weight training. Class meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:15am.

Nia

If you're looking for a fun, low to no impact work out, try attending a Nia work out with fitness instructor Maria Whitley! Nia combines dance moves and martial arts, keeping participants moving to music and having a great time. It is a great way to burn off stress and calories at the same time, while in a care-free environment. Nia gets your heart rate moving, increases strength and energy. Tone up your muscles and rejuvinate your spirit with Nia at Lakeside!

Tai Chi

Tai Chi integrates the mind and body to promote mental and physical health. It is an intricate blend of Chinese martial arts and therapeutic exercise. Led by instructors Rose Phillips, Cliff Jones, and Anne Teaford, Tai Chi is gentle, focusing on fluid movements that are relaxed and slow in tempo. It also builds sharper mental focus and stamina. The slow, meditative movements produce improvement in muscle strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and relaxation.

Yoga Pilates Blend

Blending Pilates and Yoga techniques, this class offers something for everyone. Tying breath to movement reduces stress while enhancing endurance. Instructors Catherine Graber and Susan Wisman will lead classes that help increase strength, muscle tone, and posture.
